Introduction

Nintendogs is a simulation-based game using dogs. Keep care of your dogs without much responsibility. You can feed them, bathe them, take them for walks and play with them. This game is the future version of Tamagotchi.

It has revolutionized the way we play in touch screen technology. From touch screen petting your pooch to talking in the microphone to your mutt. This is a game of all games and is worth the price!  

Gameplay

The idea of the game is to look after your dogs. The game can't be completed you just keep playing. Every time you go for a walk or bathe or feed your dogs then you get points. Then those points add up to give you more selective dog breeds you can buy.

For the lowest price of money 500,000 you can buy a different house you also get better houses the more points you get. You can do lots of things with your dogs and there are many toys to collect. Here are some of the toys you can get on walks or from shops.

MUSIC - Keyboard, Records and Jukeboxes.

TOYS - Balloons, Bubble blowers, Pull ropes and Jump ropes.

SPORTS - Rubber bone, Tennis ball, Football, and Flying discs.

ETC - Doll, Teddy, Bottles, Shuttle models.

ACCESSORIES - All sorts of collars, glasses, hair accessories and hats.

CARE - Biscuits, Milk, Water, Tinned food, Shampoo, Brushes and Books.

CLOCKS - There are lots of clock designs to collect such as Marine, Clover, Silver, and many more.

Graphics

The graphics show how great they are from the moment you switch the game on! The puppies fur sways in the breeze and the leashes swing in the wind. When your dog eats food or drinks water or milk chunks of food will fly in the air adding the messiness of keeping a pet.

Your house is quality and the background objects are almost life like. The pooches look as if you could touch them and they would be furry the graphics are that good.

Sound

You get the additional bark when you turn the sound up. Cars that go past your house give the odd honk of a horn and the rev of an engine. There is some nice catchy music when you take your dog for a walk. When you wash your dog or brush it you get the nice jolly music that is also quite catchy.

You get the added effect of the shower spray when you wash of the soapsuds. The sound gets a bit annoying when you move on to do a contest or a trial. I really felt as if it was putting me under pressure. Over all the sound is quite impressive especially if you have it on surround sound.

Downsides

The music will get on your nerves and the constant yapping will drive you crazy and the comments made by the other dog owners get cheesy and boring after a while. But otherwise the game is pretty good
