Introduction

This has to be one of the most amazing concepts for a game. You will never see anything else like it. Sora, Donald and Goofy are back for more kick-ass fun in the next part of the series.

I would also like to add in this section that even though the game is co-produced by Disney, Disney only created some characters and some levels. Square Enix made most characters, levels, game-modes, etc.

Gameplay

After the first game scared most people away with its poor world travel and weird control, and after many many emails to BVG Games and Square Enix, the companies working on the game listened to what the players were saying and changed everything to their likings. The tavel from one planet to another was fixed so there is free travel. In other words u can fly around and go to another planet whenever you please. Another problem with the first game was the gummi-ship fight scenes. They were all slow and there was not much action. Square Enix fixed this by making the gummi battles faster and has mini-missions inside the battles.

While you're on these planets you will encounter many old enemies (Heartless) and some new ones (Nobodies). The battles in these levels are now intense. I admit that the game is button-mashy but its all worth watching Sora go insaine. You can also skip cut-scenes now.

A new addition to the game is something called Drive. When you go into drive form you lose Donald or Goofy on  the field but gain some amazing talents. You're combo limit increases and you're finishing moves become more powerful. Most of the time you can't tell what Sora's doing but it still looks cool.

Storyline

After defeating Ansem and going into a deep sleep for two years, Sora, Donald and Goofy are awaken only to find that the Heartless are back. Not only are the Heartless back but so are another group called Organization XIII and the Nobodies. A Nobodies is created when a person with a strong heart turns evil and turns to into a Heartless (those without hearts). Organization XIII are a group of Nobodies who have gained great power.

While still looking for a way to find your friends (Riku and Kari) and Goofy and Donald are trying to find their king (Mickey Mouse) you attempt to help your new friends on all the planets you go to. You learn along the way that there is a connection between you and someone named Roxas who lived in a computer generated town. You also learn that the Ansem you killed in the first game was not the real Ansem, but only his Heartless, which means there was also a Nobody created in the process. The nobody of Ansem is part of Organization XIII along with 11 other men who are known to you. The last member is not revieled until the end.

The plot can become confusing after a while, so dont skip any scenes if you are having troubles understanding what's going on. It is also a good idea to play the first game first so u can understand what has happened in the past. Also, you should take guesses through the game to figure out what is happening. It helps if you develop some theories and take some guesses.

Sound

What can I say about sound.....THE MOST AMAZING SOUND EVER! There are so many famous actors who play parts in this game, such as Steve Burton, Haley Joel Osment, Jesse McCartney and James Woods. There is also the whole cast from Final Fantasy 7 Advent Children doing voice-overs like George Newbern as Sephiroth.

Graphics

Well detailed, well run, everything is smooth. About the same level graphics as the first Kingdom Hearts. There was alot of work done on making the graphics as smooth as they were. I found that some of the lip-syncing was off at times but nothing major.
