All that being said, what makes this game what it is? Mostly, it is the unique gameplay. You hit numbers to attack, heal, morph, and buff your way into history.
Macro's are a big part as well as it allows you to completely customize the controls to fit however you want them too.

A big thing WoW has is a lush storyline to build off of. Thanks in part to the Warcraft trilogy of games, warcraft has an enthralling story thats makes you really feel like you make a difference with every quest you complete. All this being said the gameplay only earned a 8 from me. There is always room for improvement, but the fact the game is one of my favorites makes me a little biased. Do you care? Hell no, this game is an easy pick up for anyone to play.

Graphicaly speaking, the game is a masterpiece. That is of course if you have a beefy computer system. A few minor details are missing like individual blades of grass, but really the game looks amazing. When reviewing this game, I was playing on a subpar, 850 mhz computer with a radeon processor from 2000. Guess what, the game still look amazing, although a tad bit laggy as exspected from a low end processor. Graphics made me go wow, but again there is room for improvement.

The game contains one of the best soundtracks I have ever heard. The music seems to never get old no matter how much you play the game. It sets the right mood in every situation. The only way it get's better is if every piece was done by a orchestra. As for sound effects they are second to none. Each attack and spell has it's own unique sound. There is grunting when falling. The only thing missing from the sound effects is heavier breathing when running, but that tends to get annoying after awhile.

Overall this game is one of the best MMORPG's of this era. It isn't for everyone, but it is designed for anyone to play. Some people like the more complex Star Wars Galaxies and Everquest 2. For me, those all fail in comparison to World of Warcraft. If you enjoy playing rpg's and spend a lot of time online, I suggesting check out WoW. Just be warned there is a 15$ a month price tag.
