Naruto: Clash of Ninja picks its battles on the Nintendo GameCube!
Features
- Choose from eight of your favorite Naruto characters including Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura
- Take on challengers in one-on-one fights to determine who is the greatest ninja
- Lightning fast controls and special effects make combat feel intense
- Cel-shaded graphics parallel the style set forth in the cartoon
- Special character-specific moves add to the feeling of authenticity
In a world where ninja hold the ultimate power, Naruto Uzumaki is a ninja-in-training, infused with the spirit of a once fearsome Nine-Tailed Fox, who is learning the art of Ninjutsu with his classmates Sakura and Sasuke. The trio study under the instruction of their teacher, Kakashi, who helps the group face dangerous and daunting tests and challenges.
Naruto's first game in the states lives up to the action-packed anime series. Each cel-shaded character in the game has a very distinctive personality and edge. Unlike some games where most characters' fighting styles feel the same, Naruto: Clash of Ninja makes it easy to pick a character that corresponds with your style. If you're able to counter-attack, you'll win many battles in this game.
Moving inside the 3D arena is intuitive enough, but it's the speed of the game that puts Naruto: Clash of Ninja over the top. Between the double-jumping, teleporting and special moves, you'll need to be quick or make good friends with the ground and losing.
Bottom Line Naruto: Clash of Ninja is a respectable debut on the console.
