Power Nut locations.
1) During the spring catch a LARGE fish and throw it directly into the middle of the pond near the fishermans tent. A green dude will come up and give you one.
2) Be nice to the Harvest Sprites. Eventually they'll give you a Power Nut.
3) Somewhere beneath the earth of your farm. (locations vary)
4) In the mine in the winter find the holes to travel down a level. Travel four levels down and soon, (almost imediately) you'll find a Power Nut.

Recipes
(1) Give fish to the fisherman.
(2) Give strawberries to Karen.
(3) Give eggs to Gray (Ann's brother).
(4) Give Mushrooms to the Harvest Sprite that walks around outside the cave.

You may have to give it to the person several times before getting the recipe (I had to give Gray LOTS of eggs before getting a recipe).

1 Tomato Soup Give the town priest several tomatos.
2 Easy Tomato Soup Give the buyer a tomato (he can be found in the Inn, which is open from 6pm-12am. He's not always there, so it may take several tries).
3 Miso Soup with Sprouts Find edible grass in the forest, and give one to the potion shop owner.
4 Cream of Turnip Stew Give a turnip to Maria's mother (the mayor's wife).
5 Cinnamon Milk Tea Give Elli's employer (the man behind the counter in the bakery) milk from your cows. If this does not get him to hand over the recipe, give him a few eggs also.
6 Strawberry Wine Grow a strawberry in your greenhouse. Once it has matured, pick it, and deliver it to Karen. In return, she will reveal the recipe to you.
7 Very Berry Wine Give Kai, the worker at the vineyard, a fruit or berry.
8 Hot Spicy Wine Find red berries (found in the forest, in fall), and give it to the owner of the bar, the man who works behind the counter in the inn.
9 Bread Pudding Give an egg to Elli.
10 Strawberry Jam Give a strawberry to Popuri.
11 Walnut Cake Give Elli's Grandmother (the woman outside the bakery in a rocking chair) a walnut.
12 Mushroom Rice Give the master carpenter (the man who leads the other carpenters, dressed mostly in white) a mushroom.
13 Mushroom Salsa Give mushrooms to the harvest elves frequently; eventually they will reward you with the recipe.

25 Steamed Clams with Wine Become good friends with Karen's Dad. In the fall, collect as many red berries as you can, and try to give him a berry each day. After a while, he will reveal the recipe to you.
26 Pickled Turnips and Cabbage At the top of the mountain, locate the old folks living in the restaurant. Give a turnip to the old man living there.
27 Garlic Potato Beef Give a potato to the mailman.
28 Fried Potatos and Bacon Give the mayor a potato.
29 Herb Rice Cake Give edible grass to the old lady, who lives in the restaurant at the top of the mountain.
30 Spa-Poached Eggs Give eggs to Kent, the older grandson of the Potion Shop owner, the one with the blond hair. He can be often found outside the bakery, or in church on weekdays.
31 Strawberry Dog Give a strawberry to Stu, the younger grandson of the Potion Shop owner, the one with the black hair. He can often be found outside the bakery, or in church on weekdays.
32 Char Stuffed with Mushrooms Give the carpenter's apprentice (the one who is -not- on the mountain, but hangs around the carpenter's house most often) a mushroom.
33 Potato Pancakes Give a potato to May, the midwife's young daughter, who can be found most often walking outside the midwife's hut.
34 Handmade Butter Give milk from your cows to Rick, the tool man.
35 Simple Tomato Soup After obtaining the tomato soup recipe from the priest (see recipe # 1), give him several more over a period of a few days to earn this recipe.
36 Spice Tea Give a several eggs to Cliff, the man in the brown hood who travels about in the first section of the woods, and has a friend bird named Cain. He will only hand over the recipe if you're good friends with him.
37 Fried Mushroom Pie Become good friends with the town priest, and then give him a mushroom.
38 Twice Cooked Tomatos and Greens After getting the first recipe from Popuri's Mother (see recipe #17), become good friends with Lilia, giving her gifts and talking to her often. After a while, give her a tomato. She will give you this recipe.
39 Strawberry Champagne After you get the Strawberry Wine from Karen (see recipe #6), continue to cultivate your relationship with Karen, giving her strawberries frequently. If you give her enough, she will hand over her second recipe.

Hidden blue apple
Do this in the spring. Go to the small pond by the fisherman's tent and fish. Catch any fish and then throw it into the pond. A water imp will come up and give you a blue apple, which supposedly allows you to work on a rainy day without getting tired. Note: This trick will not work in the winter due to the fact that the pond is frozen at that time.

Blue Berry.....
First of all you have to get the fishing pole before this will work (Duh!) Anyway after you get the fishing pole catch a small fish and throw it into the pond by the fisherman's tent a greenish imp should come out of the water and give you a blue berry that will keep you from getting tired (sick?) in the rain.

Ect:
(1) This won't work on the first day your at the farm
(2) To get the fishing pole talk to the fisherman
(3) You can tell the difference between the sizes of the fish like this...
Small = Small and blue
medium = Kinda big and reddish orange
large = HUGE and blue

Get Married, Have Child, Quick and Easy Money
Get Married- To get married, pick out a young lady of your choice. Dance with her at festivals, give her presents every day, and be very nice to her. When the heart in the bottom of the right hand corner is red or pink, buy a blue feather from Rick's Tool Shop (If he doesn't have it, he'll get it, trust me) and give it to her. If she says yes, you will be married the next Sunday.

Have a Child- Once you are married, be nice to your wife. Don't stay out late, bring her gifts, and NEVER talk to another girl. After 30 days, she'll begin to act strangely. In another 60 days, you'll have a child.

Update-It said you cannot speak to other girls as part of it actually you can DONT LET THE OTHERS GET HIGHER THAN A BLUE HEART!!!!! It also said not to stay out late. Not quite. You actually must go to bed beetween 7:00 and 9:00. And also your wife eventually says she is pregnant after a while. and you cant leave your farm while she is giving birth without some help from your horse...............

How To Build Wooden Fences
{note: you need 1 wood for every fence post.}
Go to that bin thing outside the chicken house,hit the A button and the guy will be holding a piece-o-wood,then put it down and if they are all next to each other it will make a very strong fence.

Harvest Goddess
If you throw a home grown Vegetable and a small fish into the pond on the left side of the Carpenters house the Harvest Goddess will come up out of the water.

Easy Money
message: If you don't want to bother with raising crops then there are several differant ways to make money....

(1) Whenever the carpenders ask you for a hand make sure you help them! They give you a thousand dollers a day.
(2) The owner of the Green Ranch (Ann's Dad) Will ask you to take care of some cows for three days acseppt and when he picks up the cows he'll give you a thousand dollers
(3) Between the 8-30 of winter the mine is open and you can find
Iron Ore(100G)
Moonlight Stone(500G)
Blue Rock(700G)
Rare Metal(1000G)
(4) There are alot of things up on the mountain that are worth money everything I list here is worth 70G.....

Time Freeze
In order for this hint to work you must have a Greenhouse. The Greenhouse cost 30,000G and 580 wood. You don't have to do anything except walk into the Greenhouse. Time doesn't move when your in the Greenhouse no matter what your doing.

See the future
To see the future, go to sleep but don't write in your diary. Keep on doing this until the day that you want to play comes up. Remember not to write in your diary or it will ruin your game. To get back to your regular game, just turn your N64 off and then back on. This will take you to the last day that was saved.

After giving the 3 harvest sprites (those dwarves in the cave) enough presents they will ask for something that is red, sparkly, round, sweet, sour and revives energy.

mushroom salsa
Give edible mushroom to harvest elvef in side the cave where the mine is and he will give you the recipe for mushroom salsa

stuffed omelet
Give eggs to Ann's brother accouple of times he will give you the recipe for stuffed omelets

Power Berries
(1) One of the power nuts is located beneath the earth on your farm. Plow many different spots with your hoe to find it.
(2) In the winter, travel to the pond next to the fisherman's tent. See the big rock on the pond? If you hit it with your LEVEL-3, golden hammer, you will reveal the a power nut. You must break the rock in one swing.
(3) Treat the harvest sprites nicely; visit them frequently and bring them gifts. Eventually, they will inqure (pester) about a shiny object. Give them the marbles you found. In exchange, they will give you a power nut.
(4) In the cave where you mine rocks and minerals, travel four floors down. It may be difficult to do, as you must find the holes to descend to the next level. But persevere, because a power nut awaits on the fourth floor down!
(5) At the flower festival during the first year, you can purchase a power nut from the peddler there. If you don't have enough cash then (it costs 1000 G), the peddler just might make a stop to your house during the year.
(6) During the first Egg Festival (I'm not sure it will work after the first year), find all the eggs to win! The prize is a power nut.
(7) Catch a large fish during the spring. Then, throw it in the center of the pond next to the fisherman's hut. You may have to repeat this a few times to get just the right spot. If you do it correctly, the Water Imp will appear and reward you with a nut.
(8) Before doing any physical activity, throw any vegetable grown on your farm into the pond located next to the carpenters' house, between the hours of 9am-3pm. the harvest goddess will appear and gives you a wish to use for one of three choices: Weather, Strength, or Love. Chose Strength, and she will give you a power nut.
(9) During the spring, fish off the dock by the beach. Keep at it; eventually you will catch a power nut instead of a fish!
(10) Befriend Basil, Popuri's father. After a while, he will reward your friendship with a power nut!

That Red Shiny Thing....
To get the marble (the red shiny thing) you have to buy some flower seeds and plant a moon drop flower and a pink cat flower then when they are done a Stu (the potion shop owners youngest son) comes to the farm and tells you to plant more so then plant four more moon drop and four more pink cat flowers then when there done the boy comes back and ask you to trade with you and say yes then you get a marble (you can buy pink cat flowers at the Flower Festival you should buy at least five boxes).

Shiny round Something
After you give the elves enough gifts they will ask you for something shiny and round.Then they say they will give you something red and juicy for it. To get the shiny thing you have to grow Cat Mint flowers and /or the yellow flowers(2 or three boxes of each outside)After the flowers bloom a boy will come and ask if he can have a flower , in exchange he gives you marbles. Give the marbles to the elves and they will give you a Power berry.

Treasure Map
To get the treasure map simply go to the tree (on your farm) by the water hole and press A while standing next to it.

Mysterious Item
The sweet and shiny red thing that the guys in the cave are talking about the piece of candy that Ann gives you so bring that to the guys.

Chicken on the Roof
If you put your chicken on the roof it will lay an egg about every few days and you dont even have to feed it

Secret Treasure
To get the secret treasure do the following:
Go to the top righthand corner of your farm where the only tree lies. Press A on the tree and you will be surprised to find a treasure map in the tree. I don't know what you are supposed to find with this map, but I'm sure you will find out...

Music Box
If you find the treasure map (Behind the tree on your ranch), go to the place it tells you to DURING THE SUMMER (To find the music box,in your mind line up the spot where the tree and the dog house meet). Hit that spot with your hoe 10-15 times. You will then find a ruted music box. Take it to Rick, the toolshop owner, and he will fix it for free. Then give the old music box to the girl of your dreams.

Infinite Money
First of all buy 1 chicken then when it lays an egg put it in the incubater to hatch another chicken. Do this until you have 6 chickens. Then sell all but 1 chicken and repeat the process. You will make 500 G a chicken, you will pay for the first chicken after selling three and continue to make profit.

Get to Moon Mountain without the bridge
Go to the tree behind the carpenters house,you will see a tree.Go to the tree and push A botton and the tree if it doesn't work in that spot,try a different place on the tree.

How to get out of your farm when your wife is giving birth
Leave your farm with the delivery man blocking your way,First turn your camera view showing your house on the left and your mailbox on the right.Get on your horse and go to the delivery man and on this camera view,go touch his left arm .On that spot,face left on the horse and junp off the horse.

Red and "Blue" Power Berries
First, catch a big fish. Throw one into the small Pond behind the fisherman's tent. A water imp will pop up and give you a power berry.

Next, catch a small fish. Throw this into the little pond behind the fisherman's tent. The water imp will appear again, but this time, you will get a "blue" power berry, which won't let you get sick in the rain.

**NOTE: you don't need to do them in this order. If you want the blue berry first, that's fine. But, you CANNOT get them on the same day. It won't work, and it will be a waste of potential cash.

Buy the Red Vase
To get the craft shop "mistake", you have to dig up a blue stone from the mine in the winter and give it to the craftsman. The next day go back to the store and the red vase will be blue. You can now buy it.

Bet any amount at a horse/dog race for free
If you want to bett 99 or lower at a horse or dog race press A on the horse or dog, bet, and then when the guy says done press B than B again and you betted for free

Up graded tools in a single night
Go to the bar at night and startusing a tool ( Hammer, Axe, Sickle, Hoe, Watering can) on nothing. When you get tired, just get about ten drinks of water from the bartender, then start doing it again. This takes along time.

Get rid of your horse
To get rid of your horse wait till the day your girlfriend or wife to tell you to do something (fireworks, bamboo float ect.)talk to her on your horse. When the thing your doing is over in the morning push A and it'll be like you got off your horse when you go outside your horse will be gone

Teleporter
To get the telaporter go to the mine in the winter and find as much rare metals as you can and give them to rick(tool guy) and some time he will bring the telaporter to your farm and you can use it on your food.

Extremly easy money
First, you must get grass seeds. plant them where ever you want to on your farm. YOU DONT WATER THEM! wait until the grass is completly
grown then cut it down with your sickle. Then buy 2 cows. Go to ricks tool shop and buy the milker. keep on milking your cows until the milk becums large. then go to the cow fesival and enter your cow. If you get first place you get gold milk,wich is worth 500g. do this with 4 different cows each year. REMEMBER TO FEED THEM EVERY DAY! buy medision from green ranch.

STRANGE GIFT
To get this item Popuri must be your girlfriend(she must like you at least at a yellow heart).She will give you this present on your birthday(it has to be marked on your calendar). After she gives it to you,you'll have a dream falling over a cliff.Next morning quickly go to the cliff behind the carpenters house.Popuri will hanging,yelling for help.Climb the tree and save her.She usually will like you a whole heart more!!!!

Save The Vineyard
First you have to make friends with Karen, the Bartender, Kai, and The Harvest Sprites. Then some night Karen will fall asleep in the bar. Kai will take her home and then talk to the bartender and give him a berry (any kind). Keep going to the bar and talking to him and giving him gifts and finally some night he will give you a sacred bottle of wine that Karens Grandma made. Then go talk to the Harvest Sprites and they will tell you to go see the Goddess in the pond. Of course you have to throw a home grown veggie in it and instead of asking about Love, strength, and weather it will say Save the Vineyard. She will take you to the tree by Karen's house and awaken it. A month or so later you will have a dream and it say the vineyard will have many harvests.

Puppies
After you have the Potion Shop Owner's recipe, take Cocoa (the dog) and put him outside with Taro for a couple weeks and a year or so later, Stu and Greg will come over and take you to there place and show you the puppies and now your dog is a father.

New Medicine
To get the new medicine (actually it is a vitamin) just give the Potion Shop owner a few pontata roots and a few days later he will send you a letter telling you that he has finished a new vitamin. It costs about 2000g

The 11th Power Nut
In the second year of winter, on the third day, go to the beach, then onto the pier. Stand next to you girl (if she's there), then cast sideways off the pier. When you get a bite, it will be the 11th power nut.

"GOLD!!!" power berry
NOTE: you can only do this Once because they fly and then evaporate in the sky or somethen!! so don't waste you crops trying more times.
To get the GOLD power berry you have to have the green house after you have that then you have to buy every crop "takes a little less than a year to get all of them" and once you grow all of them you take 2 of every kind and put throw them in the pond in the back of the fisherman's tent and a Blue and purple IMP come up at the same time and they ask you which one of these three do you pick they are "have unlimited wood" - "Have SUPER Hoe, Sickle, Hammer, Water can, and Axe" - or "something incredible" choose something incredible ::NOTE:: You have to have at least 3 berry to trade with them and they will give you a GOLD berry!!!!!

Dreams
When you start getting the girls to like you, you will have dreams. Here are the dreams that I had:
Karen~A dream about a little girl, her dad's mad and she can't go in someplace, and at the end there's something about a hole.
What you do~Go to the vineyard the next day, and go into the building where there's the wine barrels. Karen will be in there and ask if you want a tour around the building. If you say yes, she'll give you a tour, and then you'll be locked in the building for a little while until her dad comes.

Elli~A dream about kids playing house, and someone eats a mudpie, and they get sick.
What you do~The next day, go to the part of the village with the library in it. There will be a little cinema thing, and Elli will be there and ask if you got sick when you played house when you were little. If you say yes, she will blush and walk away.

Popuri~A dream about a girl who tries to pick a flower, and almost falls off a cliff.
What you do~Go to the woods the next day, and go into the part with the Carpenter's house. Someone will say "help!". Go over to the tree, and Popuri will be hanging off a cliff. Climb up the tree by pressing A in front of it, and rescue Popuri.

Maria~A dream about giving a girl a fairy tale book.
What you do~Go to the library the next day, and there will be a brown book on the counter where Maria usually stands. Press A by it, and Maria will say that's her book, and ask you if you were the one that gave it to her.

Invulnerable Green House
To have a invulnerable greenhouse during a typhoon, put your dog in the greenhouse and when the typhoon ends, the greenhouse remains.

Get rid of your dog
To get rid of your annoying dog who urineates all over your house, (you need a bathroom to do this trick)simply call your dog to you and do in the toilet and when you come out your dog goes in. Then if you look above your toilet, your dogs on top and you cant get it back. (From Mac "Poor Doggie")
